Sponsored Post: Werther’s Sugar Free Candy

Thank you Werther’s Original Sugar Free Candy for sponsoring this post.

I think when it comes to a Sweet Tooth – my Little Chefs, and yes, I will admit myself as well – have a crazy Sweet Tooth!!  I recently have started to really pay attention to the amount of sugar My Little Chefs, and myself,  eat on a daily basis.  Maybe this came about because of our recent Dentist Appointments and also due to the fact that my sister-in-law was diagnosed with diabetes in her early 20’s, she is very healthy and  has no family history.  As I was watching and reading labels, I was amazed of how much sugar my kids where eating.  I needed to cut back some of the extra sugar. My Little Chefs are getting bigger now, and I want to also teach them the importance of healthy eating and good choices when it comes to a snack or treat.

My Little Chefs were so excited when they were able to try a new treat!! I pulled out the bags of the new Werther’s Sugar Free Candy. I had to take the extra picture, because I kept catching their hands in the candy jar!! Obviously, they were a HUGE success – and not just for the Little Chefs, for myself and Chef Dad. If I had not known before hand, I would not have guessed that they were sugar-free.  Werther’s Sugar Free Candy comes in 4 delicious flavors –

  • Classic Caramel
  • Caramel Apple
  • Caramel Coffee
  • Caramel Cinnamon

Sometimes, we think if a treat is sugar-free it is also taste free – that is not the case with Werther’s Sugar Free Candy. They still have a rich, creamy, caramel taste with the hint of Caramel, Apple, Coffee or Cinnamon.  And I could not believe only 40 calories in 5 pieces of candy!  So whether you are a person with diabetes or just cutting down on your sugar intake – these are the candies for you!

The other day, I put these candies to the test – the typical 3pm I want a treat request came from the Little Chefs. I told them they could pick 3 Werther’s Sugar Free Candies.  They were at first so surprised that I let them have 3, and also surprised that I was allowing them to have candy! The candies satisfied their sweet tooth! And because they are a hard candy, it took them longer to eat, they did not ask for any thing else to eat until dinner time.

The Little Chefs and I give Werther’s Sugar Free Candy a big thumbs up!! Also, Be sure to like Werther’s on Facebook. I played the Guess the Number of Caramels game and received a $1.00 off coupon. You can also enter the sweepstakes for a Werther’s Original Sugar Free gift pack.

I was selected for this opportunity as a member of Clever Girls Collective, and the content and opinions expressed here are all my own.

I am a mom to Five Little Chefs who love to cook and create anything with their hands. Watching over 10 additional hands keeps me busy but is so much fun! We laugh and cry everyday, but then want to do it again the next day. That is how we know we are enjoying life!
