This is a quick meal my family LOVES! It is easy enough my daughter can make this herself. She has a personal cookbook filled only with recipes she knows how to make – Pizza Pasta Skillet is one of them!
Pizza Pasta Skillet

Ingredients
- 1 Tablespoon vegetable oil
- ½ lb hot italian sausage
- ½ onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup mini pepperoni
- 16 oz jar pizza sauce
- 8 oz can tomato sauce
- ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
- ¼ teaspoon dried basil
- ¼ teaspoon dried oregano
- 2 cups water
- 2 cups uncooked penne pasta
- 1 cup shredded mozzerella cheese
Instructions
- In a large skillet over medium high heat add oil, sausage and onion. Cook for about 5 minutes or until browned and onions are soft.
- Add garlic and mini pepperoni. Cook for 1 minute or until fragrant.
- Add pizza sauce, tomato sauce, garlic powder, basil, oregano, water and pasta. Bring to a boil, cover and simmer for 7 minutes. Stir. Cover and simmer for 7 more minutes.
- Top with cheese. Cover until cheese is melted. Serve immediately.
