Toasted Sesame Balsamic Asparagus

  • 1 pound fresh asparagus, tough ends trimmed
  • 1 Tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 Tablespoon balsamic vinegar
  • Sea salt
  • Fresh cracked pepper
  • 1 Tablespoon white sesame seeds, toasted
  1. Preheat oven to 550 degrees F.
  2. Line a rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper.
  3. Place trimmed asparagus on the parchment paper.
  4. Add olive oil and vinegar on top of asparagus.
  5. Using your hands roll the asparagus around in the oil and vinegar to fully coat each spear.
  6. Sprinkle sea salt all over asparagus. Add a few turns of fresh cracked pepper.
  7. Bake for 6-7 minutes.
  8. When you remove the asparagus from the oven add the toasted sesame seeds.
  9. Serve warm.
