Free Ipad Apps for Active Learning – Numbers/Counting Ipad

I shared some Free Android Apps for Numbers and Counting a couple weeks ago. Now I am sharing some free ipad apps for active learning on the Ipad for Numbers and Counting. When comparing the Android and Ipad apps available I quickly learned that the Ipad has a lot more better quality apps. We have been testing a huge selection of apps for a while now. If there are too many ads we delete them. If my 4 year old cannot understand how to use the app we delete it.

After much testing we have discovered these 6 apps which we like and play almost daily. I only have educational apps on this ipad so it doesn’t bother me when they play it.

Toddler Counting 123 Free – No in app purchases

 Laugh & Learn Let’s Count Animals for Baby – No in app purchases

Endless 123 – 1-5 Free then you need to upgrade. My 20 month old loves to play this game. I would upgrade this game we use it that much.

123 Ninja – No in app purchases. This app is good for recognizing numbers. You are told which number to look for then you need to “slice” it.

Fish Swish – No in app purchases. Count the fish as they swim by then choose the right number out of 3 choices. Need to already know the numbers.

 Number Quiz – Partially free, you can upgrade to the full version. I like that this app has 4 ways of teaching the numbers.
